You can get a free copy of the John Carter of Mars RPG core book in PDF before the end of April if you hurry. If you know a fan let them know.
From Modiphius:
"I wanted to send you all an update on Modiphius during the lockdown and have something special for our community to say thanks for all your support. I've long been passionate about John Carter of Mars since I was a kid so if you head over to our webstore and use the code BARSOOM at checkout you can score yourself a free copy of the John Carter of Mars RPG core book in PDF before the end of April. It's a really streamlined version of our 2d20 system so if you like what you see the code VIRGINIA will get you 20% off anything in the John Carter RPG & miniatures collection."

For those interested, there's the complete works of ERB for something like $1 on Amazon.

The Australian Book Repository has many of ERB's (and other authors, too) works in two formats: HTML and PDF, and some have EPUB/KINDLE formats, too. Here is the link but you'll have to page down.

Good call! I had to get a VPN because here in Germany, where I live, you can't have access to Project Gutenberg. I don't know why, since 100% of the stuff therein is copyright free. But I like the tidiness and orderliness of the Kindle collections in Amazon. A dollar or two for the complete works of a single author with hyperlinked tables of contents and sometimes footnotes is a good deal. But nothing beats the good paperbacks of the old days, I reckon :-D
