These happen on both sides of the Weapons Phase. During these you may play 3 cards in either or both. Remember that any R/ cards count as one of your 3 plays per turn, they may not be played on the A & B of your enemies.

Remember that any R/ cards count as one of your 3 plays per turn, they may not be played on the A & B of your enemies. Why can't they be played during an opponent's A or B phase? They are played in response/reaction to actions and cards played by your opponent... From the rules: - Reaction cards cannot be played in phases where the playing player takes no actions. - The following things can be reacted to: Point allocation, a card being played, a card action, weapons fire, and the discarding of cards during the Discard Phase. -------- So if your opponent skips their A or B phase, you couldn't play a R/ card during that phase, but if they play a card, you absolutely can play a R/ during that phase.
