I see no chance for any success to come of this. It does bring about some interesting matters though. TSR has been known to steal the work of others from the very beginning. All those great ideas in the rags were magically transferred into Gary's brain already, and nobody could do anything about it back then; what's changed now? I'm pretty sure that Gygax himself acquired ownership of that stuff as soon as Kuntz left the company, as he created it while an employee who gave up his rights to see it published in print. Was the Greyhawk property transferred to Wizards of the Coast? We all know that Gary himself could no longer publish works associated with the World of Greyhawk, as TSR owned the property. Hasbro is sitting on a mountain of games that they won't rerelease but will go after anybody who tries.
If this goes to court, which I don't see happening, it could be interesting. Who legally owns the bits and pieces that make up a whole? If Rob succeeds, this could be bad for consumers. I had assumed that he had already been paid for that, or he donated it to Gary. To turn around all these years later and demand his part of the material back, and get it. That would be a can of worms for more than just our small little corner of the web.

The full text was reportedly posted elsewhere and while the thread did not get locked, the Admin there reportedly posted a threat intended to shut down any discussion, which appears to have happened, even so it has stirred the pot. My understanding is that the home campaign was different than what was published as Greyhawk and that is why Gary could still publish Castle Zygag, which his death brought to a halt. Kuntz I assume should be able to publish his own stuff which TSR/WotC never obtained or paid for and he never gave up the Kalibruhn name so I think this is mainly about getting the original manuscripts back and if Castle Zygag were to ever be published, he wants paid to have his stuff included. Rob by all accounts has always been pretty zealous about his IP so I do not think he donated anything. A few things got away, but not all of it is my understanding. We will see, maybe. There has already been a development directly related to it. Transformers Producer Drops Lawsuit Against Gary Gygax's Widow Gail Some very interesting things in this article. Especially in light of Rob's post.

Rob would have to prove that this property was "stolen" and I honestly don't see how he can. I guess that I'm having trouble figuring out what Rob wants out of this? Is it original notes that are in the possession of Gail? As far as I know, they now belong to her. She didn't sneak into his appartment and take them, he left them there and she took care of them all these years. I mean, if I leave a notebook at a buddies how, all I can do is ask to have it back, but if they say no, then that is the answer.
