A drink which all orcs are familiar with. It is a very harsh liqour that is unpleasant. It smells terrible, but there are two different effects which this drink provides, and it seems to be automatic for whatever use that it is used for. The first is that it allows an uninterrupted march. The user does not need to stop for food or rest and triples their movement rate per day.
The second effect or it may be a different bottle of spirits that is only apparent to orcs, is orcish rage. If drank prior to battle the liquor grants +1 to hit, +2 to damage, and 5 temporary hp. This effect lasts until the user rests, never waking up is not uncommon. While under the effects of Orcish War Spirits the user is unnaturally hostile, attacking peers which the user deems worthless and a shame to their species is often reported. Addiction to this liquor is also a problem, those who abuse it have been known to get a greenish tinge to their skin, and over time, it may even change the physical structure of the body to that of an orc.
As to other benefits and drawbacks, we are still researching this stuff.

As to other benefits and drawbacks, we are still researching this stuff. Ive seen magic dwarven and elvan brews but never an orc, nice. It is from Lord of the Rings. The orcs made Pippin and Mariadoc drink it when they were captured and forced to march without rest. I added the mechanical bits; naturally, if the liquor caused rage then this can't be used to make captives easier to move. I am pretty sure that Saruman created it but D&D orcs can be more independent. Of all the fantasy races, orcs have always interested me the most, so as the DM I am kind of rooting for them. The world is always just on the verge of the Age of Orc, or maybe that is just what they tell themselves. I've developed orcish folk into a society, like men they are only limited in their level by their own rage and determination. They also have dark magic weaved into the fiber of their being, an ability to safely eat and drink things which people cannot, they never get sick, and the ability to live without shelter anywhere. These people are tough! Orcish shamans are rare, but they can quickly make gallons of this stuff. They have no patience for letting the alcohol cure or whatever, so this stuff is nasty, but it gets the job done. And, the orcs love it! So that is all that matters.
