Does anyone have a legible image of the back of the 1997 rules? Or have the text handy to post?
Obscure request! But thanks if anyone has this!

By "1997 rules," do you mean the back of T4 "Marc Miller's Traveller" (published 1996)?
UPDATE: You must mean something else, because the free preview of the PDF of the above available on DriveThruRPG features the front and back covers of the original book and there isn't any text on either (just big illustrations and the title).

On the other hand, if (as your post title rather than text states) if you mean the text on the back of the 19*7*7 rules box, I still have a box that is labelled (in the upper right corner of the reverse side) "Starter Edition 251." I can post the text for you, if this is what you need.

Hmmm. I'm confused. The link below is to a blog featuring as part of the particular article's introduction what appears to be a legible (if rather small at the default image size) copy of a very early black-type-on-white-background box blurp from GDW . . . talestoastound.wordpress.com/2015/11/09/traveller-out-of-the-box-interlude-how-people-played-traveller-in-1977/. . . but the blog concerned seems to be your own [Traveller Out Of The Box], from November 9, 2015? At least for me, blowing up the image to a easier-to-read size still leaves it legible. If this doesn't apply to you, I can transcribe the text here.
