I find amusement that the two waterskins are brothers. I didn't know waterskins had brothers, I wonder if they are magically alive.

No. Doubt her unintentional misplacement of an afterthought, such that it could be taken out of context if so desired? Again, no.

You realize I prob the only guy here that gets this joke? It was worth it, just to amuse you. I googled the name. A "dark superhero" ghost who can possess even the strong-minded (for at least a little while). Let's' hope we don't run into him in this game.

I googled the name. A "dark superhero" ghost who can possess even the strong-minded (for at least a little while). Let's' hope we don't run into him in this game. Actually he is CG , among DC comics better ideas I would have to read the comics to make a judgement on the alignment. But the premise of a character who can only act in the physical world by possessing the bodies of others - without their knowledge or consent (the former is stated but the latter only implied in the Wikipedia article) - strikes me as more akin to Chaotic Neutral than Chaotic Good. At least in my mind, Chaotic Good focuses on welfare of the individual, with Lawful Good focusing on the welfare of society. Unless Deadman is somehow prescient (and thus knows what's best for his prospective host better than the host him/herself does), possessing someone in order to make them do whatever Deadman thinks is correct doesn't seem all that Good. Effective and efficient undoubtedly, but not Good . . . particularly if Deadman screws up and gets the host jailed, hurt or killed.

Raik, you'd need to read the original series in Strange Adventures of 1968-1969 as I recall - credited to editor Jack Miller but probably ghost written by artist Neal Adams from the 2nd appearance and definitely by the last two installments. (One fill-in by Bob Kanigher.) Boston was given a gift by one of creator Arnold Drake's stand-ins for Heavenly Father - the gift to seek his murderer by borrowing bodies of the living. Beginning as an amoral person, almost immoral, Boston grows as a person to an almost heroic person, even with a temper he still struggled to control.
Since the cancelation of this series (SA 216) Deadman has been unevenly portrayed, at least twice being given a rather evil personality. I ascribe it to a generation of creators who don't know what a hero is.

Beginning as an amoral person, almost immoral, Boston grows as a person to an almost heroic person, even with a temper he still struggled to control. Have you watched any of the Channel 4 [British TV]/AMC [American TV] Humans show? [NOTE: As a stylistic conceit, the title "HUMANS" is spelled with the "A" inverted.] Because this sounds rather like a description of the character arc of the "synthetic" [e.g. android] Niska from that show. She starts off in Season 1 as a rebellious prostitute who kills an abusive client and shows no discernible mercy to any other humans, either. By Season 2 she's mellowed considerably - thanks in large part to a relationship with a precocious human child - and even falls in love with a human woman. By the end of the current Season 3, she's [reluctantly] become a . . . well, I guess the term "messiah" might be appropriate, although a very ungentle one.

I love the Humans TV series, I finish binging on season two via a DVD set from the local library, I just need to watch season 3 on demand or netflix.

If you've got any of several regular T.V. services (xfinity is mine), you can log onto the AMC website and watch Season 3 for free (with ads though, of course).

I love the Humans TV series, I finish binging on season two via a DVD set from the local library, I just need to watch season 3 on demand or netflix. I think it's very cool, too. There isn't a single character that feels unreal. Even the Little Kid Synth - turning from adorable to spooky then back on a dime - is well written and acted: "How did you like human school?" "It was interesting. There were even times I forgot I wasn't human."
