These items noted below are of course subject to revision as we learn more about running a discussion board. But here are the criteria for getting your own forum as it stands today. Please let us know how this is working for you all and we welcome feedback and suggestions.
If you would like your own campaign forum here are our currents thoughts on that subject:
1. You want to have your own folder and you have asked for it. (Talk to us and let us know what you want the forum to be called.)
2. You have a campaign world/setting and/or house-rules document with which a reasonable number of people are familiar, either as part of a home-group, PbP, or both.
3. Create one thread to start your forum with. As soon as you complete the first three items we will try to get the forum up and move your starter thread to it as soon as possible.
4. You maintain a reasonable conversation about it on this forum. Invite your home group to join the conversation, please.(we understand that some, most or all of your players may not do this). If your threads go dead for a significant amount of time we will ask you if you think you still need your own folder. We may retire your threads to a "other community campaigns" folder if the feeds go dead.(We will not rush this and if you are going to be away for a while for RL things, try to let us know if you can.)
5. I also want to be clear that this is not limited to OD&D campaigns, it can be for any RPG you are running (D&D or Other) or a mashup or completely home brewed. If you are a member of our OD&D - Campaigns and House Rules Discussion forums I take it as fact that whatever you are posting about (regardless of the ruleset) will be of interest and inspiration to our members. So don't let the fact that you don't have an OD&D campaign stop you.
So #1 post in this thread and tell us that you want a forum and the name of the forum for your campaign. Then tell us in the same post that #2 is true and #3 create a new thread about your campaign as the starter thread and I will create the forum and move your first thread to it. This means that you are committing to #4 and it is not intended to be onerous.

Hi PD, any chance of getting a forum for my OD&D Planet Eris game? Yes, there is a chance. Seriously we are working out the requirements for how we decide who gets a forum for your game and when - so we can be even-handed with everyone and that is in progress. I can tell you to go ahead and start threads in this forum, I suggest a Q&A thread and then other threads as they are relevant to your game. We are looking at the level of posting activity and other things and as soon as we finalize that we will be letting you and several others know the details. In the meantime, go ahead and start your threads. I have seen your house rules document which looks very cool and I have heard a lot of good things about your campaign. Also (It just occurred to me, duh) it would be good if anyone wanting a forum for their game would let us know their (your) expectations.

austinjimm, please start a thread (or two, or three) on Planet Eris here in this folder ("add your campaign here"), as others have. That way we can start conversation about it until rules are worked out for how folks get their own folder. Admin Pete will just move those threads there once you do.

austinjimm, In addition to you starting your thread(s) about Planet Eris here in this forum leading up to your own forum, I would like to start a thread in the "Third Party" Supplements forum as I am doing for all of the significant Supplements of which yours is one. That thread will have a different purpose than your forum. It is where I will place links to information, downloads and such and where people can comment on how they are using it. While I have found some links of my own, if you would post some links in this thread I will use them to get that started also. I look forward to your posts about your campaign.

So please start a thread for Planet Eris and I will move it to your own forum for you(Oh and let me know how you want the name for the Planet Eris forum to read). Sorry for the delay, but we are new to running a forum and thought it best not to hurry, even for things that we really want to include.

If at all possible I'll bite on a forum. Instead of the starter thread's name let's do something simple like "Darke's World" since the ideas are growing beyond the idea of Arthurian England.

Is this really open to anyone? I don't know if it is something that I could pull off or not, but if it is really open to anyone it would give us (me) something to shoot for.

Yes, sir, it is really that open. If you want to start slow, just start a single thread about your campaign in this folder and start the conversation. When / if you are ready, Admin Pete can create your own folder.

I think I'd like a campaign forum for Titan. And let's go for 'Blues for the Red Sun' as the title.

I really like Planet Eris. We do too! When austinjimm first stopped in we were not quite ready for him and hopefully he will stop back and setup a campaign forum with us. I will create it as soon as he makes his first thread.

I'd love to do this based off my home campaign when I have the time to organize my notes and stuff digitally (it's all on... *gasp* ...Real paper right now...). That way I could drop it here without hours of in-forum typing or re-arranging Hopefully I'll have time in the next few weeks to do just that, although with my surprise time off today and the ensuing deluge of posts by me (o.o sorry for the flood, people!) some of my campaign has already been eluded to in other areas of these boards.

Hey merctime come back here and post away when you get the chance. I would love to have a dozen more campaigns posted here and several more pbp games going too!

OK, it's time to do something or just drop it so I'm requesting a campaign forum for "The Toldara Campaign". Besides, having blank space waiting to be filled will motivate me...

Admin Pete, I've just received verbal authorization by telephone communication that we can go ahead and start a Planet Eris Folder for austinjimm's campaign setting and house rules document. He has authorized me as a frequent player and ref in his campaign to get it going and start discussion and answering any questions (as best I can). He says he is swamped, that he even has trouble keeping up with K&KA (his main forum), but that he will visit and start interacting as soon as he can. Meanwhile he is flattered that folks find his rules cool / helpful and want to talk about them!

Yeah, this will be great. I remember finding a copy of his rules online (last year or the year before), being very inspired by them, and wishing I was in Texas!

I do not have an active campaign/playing group going. I would like to, but keeping 3 to 6 players actively involved in a skype-chat game on a regular basis is difficult enough using more recent editions. My world-- THE LOST LANDS--is in its early creation stage(s), and I have little documentaion and mostly world maps finished. As I intend it to be explored using the original '74 D&D rules, '75 GH /'75 BM supplements and my own 'Reimagined OD&D' materials, getting anyone else interested and on board, with all the internet playing groups available, is not easy.
I would like to make some of my materials accessible to (the) members and guests, here. Can that be arranged?

Sure can, just look for the title " The Lost Lands" and start posting. Also if you want to post about that Skype chat game feel free to do that also. I am sure you must have some stories from that to tell.

Question: how do I get my maps to show up full-size in a thread, rather than the small attachement size?

Question: how do I get my maps to show up full-size in a thread, rather than the small attachement size? When you double click on them it takes you to the full size image, other than that I am not sure. Ask up in General Discussion, since there are others that have attached pictures. I think that there is more than one way to do it. Did you use "insert image" or "Add Attachment"?
