Dejah, Dejah, Dejah! Lynn Collins was the vision of Dejah, although considerably more dressed. Few women can compare with Lynn Collins in her prime. Wish they had made a ton of Burroughs movies with her. She could have placed Nadara and a lot of the other Burroughs women. I would like to seen her as Tarzans Jane, in a faithful version of the books.

When I read A Princess of Mars, it really seemed to me as though Ed was trying to get it through to me that Deja was beautiful kind of like Douglas Adams wanted me to understand the the Universe was big. If the art dedicated to her is any indication, he drove the point home to a lot of readers.
And have you seen the cosplayers? Women always tell me "No woman would go out in public like that". They have never been to an anime, sci-fi, or comic convention...
I don't even think posting pics would be acceptable in the forum. Just google it, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I liked the movie too, my main problem with it was that John Carter was not portrayed accurately. One he is supposed to look about 35 and two he is experienced, calm, decisive and the best swordsman of two worlds and that is not how he was shown. |
