In concert with my thinking on female Minotaur (Minataur!), I am inclined to incorporate the following into my campaign world; should it ever physically manifest.
Not all Minotaur are equal. Within the various clans are exceptional examples that come from elite bloodlines. These are often thought of and treated by other Minotaur as Noble and Royal types. It is these types that usually rule (or at lease semi-organize) war parties of larger than normal gatherings; intended on greater purposes.
Nobles can be both Neutral and Chaotic, while Royals can be any alignment.
Nobles use a D8 for hit points (using OR-74) or D10 (using Holmes); treating all ones rolled as twos. Royals use a D10 for hit points (using OR-74) or D12 (using Holmes); above, and treating all twos rolled as threes.
Both types will use armor, with the Nobles attaining AC 4, and Royals AC 2.
In combat, Nobles can inflict 1-8 damage per hit (unarmed) or by weapon +2; Royals can inflict 1-10 damage per hit (unarmed) or by weapon +4. While both are just slightly larger than a standard Minotaur, this reflects their, unusually, greater strength.
