I think sometimes that I should start a blog, just so I could have my own blog roll focused on the guys I know and make at least a couple of good posts each month. Maybe down the road when I turn in my Admin hat. |

Just my opinionn but I think everyone should have a follower button if your blog has that option. It is a great way for us to show each other support by becoming followers on each others blogs and it tell visitors that you are building committed readership. If you don't have the button, please consider adding it. |

You have been part of my blog roll for years. May I make a few suggestions for you. Post links to your blog posts in your profile feed at MeWe and mark them public which is what I do or you can put them in the TTPRG Blog Group. This will help you get seen by more eyes. Also join the RPG Spotlight. It is not huge, but it is slowly growing. There are some others out there, join them. Oh and put you blog link in your signature here. Also the next time you write an OD&D focused blog post, let me know and I will share it around. |

I bit of news on mine which never really got off the ground. I am on a two week vacation right now and I am taking some time to hash out how to launch the new one. What I have so far is that I want to focus on retro gaming (Table and Video) and maybe some retro culture. This may result in two blogs. There will be D&D content but I do not want to focus strictly on D&D.
As for names I feel anything with the 'Grimm' name has run its course. 'Julian Grimm', 'Grimmhaus' and so on carry a bit of baggage for me and I am basically dissolving the 'brand'. I have a few names I am kicking around but have not decided on anything yet. I am hoping to begin hashing things out today as I am going to be doing some work in that area today and tomorrow.
So far that is all. I am hoping to have the new blog launched by the end of vacation.

Looking forward to seeing your new stuff! Well here is where I am at right now: Over the weekend I came to a decision to go on an extended hiatus as a DM and am pulling back from D&D in general. Part of it was another planned campaign falling through and writer's block kicking my butt. However this led to two decisions: 1) Keep working on my world material here further developing the Karstlands. 2) Go ahead at start the retro blog and cover video and tabletop games as well as some role playing content and fork the RPG and tabletop side off if things pick up. As of now the two possible titles are Time Tunnel based off the name of the local arcade back in the 80s or Warehouse 1648 which was a name I basically pulled out of my rear. Surprisingly I kind of like the Warehouse 1648 name better since it sounds like a cheesy straight to video movie. I am looking at designs now am looking at my first few posts. Edit to add: Went with Ali Baba's Palace which is a rip on the Aladdin's Castle arcades. |

I would kind of like to use wordpress, but having your own website can be expensive and once you stop paying for it, it is gone forever. At least with blogspot, it can hang around for years, as long as Google doesn't pull the plug. |
