When I am talking about Batman, I am always talking about Bronze age and up, that to me is Batman, and yes in movies he has killed many times in the movies and early in his career when he actually carried a gun.(I think Robin had a gun too) OH and thanx for "correcting" my typo, that was exactly what I wanted to say.

The Dick Grayson Robin used a sling, not a gun, sometimes to fatal effect. When the groundwork for the newspaper strip was being negotiated, Finger (as well as Siegel) was instructed that heroes wouldn't kill. Obviously the Boy Commandos got away with murder.

Bill Finger. I recently had a Mandala moment with him. There is a cool Documentary on Netflicks about Finger not being credited for Batman, but I destinctly remember the credit. I can see his signature it in my head right now, but I went back through my collection and it isn't there. That is weird.
Anyhow, sorry. Carry on!

Only very recently has Finger received credit, and it was in the sixties that Alter-Ego and/or Batmania (Yay Biljo!) discovered that he, not Kane, had done most of the creating.

Back in the good old days as was noted above, we only used Lawful, Neutral and Chaotic and we were routinely Lawful from top to bottom. We had very few characters that we any thing other than the basic three, later on we added the other classes and those were mostly Neutral aside from the Paladin and only I ever played a Paladin. None of our PCs was ever Chaotic bitd.

I posted this in another thread but, for me, alignment only affects how various spells and magic items operate. It's just a game convention the way I see it.
