The 70's were a special time. By 1972 I had actually started wargaming, and in early 1977 started playing RPGs like D&D and Traveller too. Before that though, I had watched a lot of science fiction and science fantasy movies, and the ones from the 70's seemed to take a giant leap forward, We had actually just recently landed on the moon for the first time, and artists and filmographers were extremely inspired.
