I found this over at The Piazza and thought that it might be of interest - Playing with Dave Arneson.



My personal favorite quote in the post is this:

BTW, here's a hint if you ever play with Dave. Dave lets the players pick a mission for their adventure. When you complete the mission by returning back to town, the adventure is over. Therefore, if you want to keep playing with Dave, all you gotta do is delay going back to town...

Some comments:
Save throws are not throws, but pleading before everyone present and making your case on how your PC survived -- EPIC and GAME CHANGING!
One adventure completed equals one level -- bye bye XPs.
