Due to mitigating factors, I'm afraid this project is going to be on hiatus for a while.
I would like to design-create more material for it, but...one need's to be aware of the signs, and--thus--I'm circling in for a landing.

Something on the table:
I have a story idea beginning to formulate in the corners of my brain pockets, and, I'm considering the idea of creating a thread/folder (in this sub-board) that would be available to the members to read (or not) as it is being written. Kind of like, a workshop, but not. More like, a viewing, where members would get to see the creation of a novel before their eyes.
Any thoughts from anyone?

Hey captaincrumbcake, Go For It! I would love to see it and love to read it. You do great work and I want more of it. I am sure I am not the only one.

Update: The great PC crash of September wiped out all my material associated with this folder. What is here, is all that remains of my..."aspirations"... I am currently dealing with a new PC, and Windows 10, which I hate. I do not have any programs installed that would allow me to duplicate past efforts. So, that is that. I spend the bulk of my time watching YouTube productions, and chasing my grandson around when he visits. I peruse all the forums on occasion, and enjoy seeing some still posting, still around. Will I ever get back to doing anything...anything creative within this format...? I don't know. Am I going to box all my Shoot up and put it in the garage? or just sell it all? I don't know. Do I miss "it" all? Once in a while.

captaincrumbcake, I am really sorry to hear about the computer crash and the loss of files. Please let me encourage you to enjoy your grandson, that is worth way more than all of this. As much as it hurts to lose all that work, you still have what is most important. You are always welcome here and you are missed. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you.

I managed to access a USB, and, thank heavens it had no viruses, have recovered a minority portion (less than 50%) of my old library of work. What does this mean? Well I can't definitively say. I am currently very stoked about getting the audio-book project going and available to those interested. But I just wanted to let folks know of the latest status of my condition.

That is fantastic and I still owe you a book review. I am about two-thirds done with reading what you gave me access to.

I am starting to think perhaps The Lost Lands can be saved.
In thinking so, I may go back and retro-fit the entire thing. One can but wonder.
