Well, I've just finished the graphite piece I intend to use as a base for the cover of my Xul campaign setting module, and I thought I'd like to share it with you. It's a low res version, and the scan turned out a bit pale so I tweaked the levels in order to make the image slightly clearer, but it's quite rough around the edges and a bit empty too. However, I'll use this for colouring, so the end result will look much different. I also have some really cool ideas for the cover layout, but I won't reveal anything about that just yet... Oh, and as you might notice, the pose and composition are heavily inspired by some of the classic paintings by Frank Frazetta (Conan, John Carter) and Michael Whelan (Elric), but that is totally intentional!

Hehe, thanks, man! The holidays have been extremely busy for me, and I've just changed work place as well, so I haven't had any time to work on this. But I've set it up digitally, so I'll try to begin colouring it as soon as I get the chance! I'll keep you posted here!
