Map of initial campaign area. 6 miles to the hex. The center hex of this map is hex 32-25 on the larger world-map. A small, outland place on the edge of the nation of Anglica. Click for a larger image in a new window. Locksley and surrounds, a decent sized village for this far out and beautifully situated along fertile farmland south of the Redspar River. On the north side of the river are the Silver hills, that live up to their name from time to time. Also, where the skull is on the map, is a series of gorgeous water-falls. It's said there's a cave in there that leads to the mysterious underworld! Protip: There is Some other small places of note would be the "Last Hill Inn and Tavern", The only Inn in the area besides the one in Locksley itself; Hammond's farmstead, and Bartleby ranch (the local cattle rancher). Both of these last two are single, but very extensive, family steads. Goblin-kind and sometimes worse bother these folks from time to time, but not too bad lately. A mounted patrol rides out to check from the capitol city of Glastony weekly; Every other month or so that patrol includes a platoon of infantry.

Village of Locksley with small keyThis will be the small starting village for the game. Not huge amounts of commerce, but most things can be gotten from Burton's smithy, or Merro's rope and leather goods. Other items like candles, or rations, can be bought from individual villagers. The Temple of Mitra will offer banking services at the customary prices (10% a deposit). A river boat can be taken to cross the Redspar river to get to the dungeon, or to the capitol city. Galter's house is the home to the local forester and woodsman, and Mayor Kelso resides with his wife Tamarin and their grandchildren.
