So The Perilous Dreamer sent me a list of spell names to be fleshed out into spells. I'm not sure if he is going to post a few, but I'll start it. Stay Tuned.

Locate Fresh Water L1 Wiz
When cast on a piece of paper, it creates a map to the nearest supply of fresh water, no further away than 5 miles and at least 10 gallons of fresh water. If these conditions are not met, the spell fizzles.

Detect Chaos L1 wiz,l2 cleric
This spell works very differently than your standard detect spell. It will direct the caster to the nearest chaotic activity be it a fist fight, a fight to the death,an argument or a heated bargaining discussion. The caster is compelled to seek it out and then to participate. It does not tell you what kind of chaos you are being directed to. T

Season Food mage L1
This spell is actually a powerful illusion. It can flavor up to 20 meals in any flavor. The illusion will also make the food look like what it is flavored. If the food is bad to eat, this spell will fail be it spoiled or poisoned.

This spell is cast in reaction to a friend missing a melee attack. The spell causes the miss to be an automatic hit for regular damage.

Frost L1 mage
This spell is cast up to 30 feet away to a large piece of metal no save, for the next 5 rounds the metal is brittle and a little fragile If cast on a large metalobject it can only take 25 points and it will shatter. A medium metal thing(like a sword) will break after 15 points.

Once memorized the spell can be cast in one of two ways
A> Spell takes 2 rounds to cast w a duration of 10 rounds. This version of the spell effects caster only. While under the duration of the spell there is absolutly no way the speech of the caster can be heard by any method, up to and including wish, except by people he wants to hear him.
B> this version can be cast on up to 10 peeps. While this spell is up, no nonmagic source is capable of hearing the recipients, the group can be up to 1 mile away from each other for 2 turns

when cast immediately before another spell, one aspect of the second spell can be doubled. Range, damage, number of targets. May not be used w any spell that the target is the caster

Analyze Scroll wiz L8
this spell enables the caster to safely tell what is on a scroll by spending 2 rounds concentrating on the scroll in question. Everything about the scroll is revealed unless it is trapped or cursed, in which case the spell fizzles. This spell can be used forever unless it fizzles, which will clear it out of memory, otherwise it stays memorized as long as desired.

Sandstorm wiz L7
In order to cast this spell you must have 10 lbs of sand , which is propelled in a Lightning bolt shaped attack (doing the same damage as a lightning bolt) The only difference is that this spell ignores magic resistance and there is no save for 1/2 damage.

this spell can be cast on up to 5 individuals.regardless of the conditions, this enables the recipients to see, smell and hear everything around them. They can perceive invisible and plane shifted beings. In addition, they can know ac, hp and spells memorized of everyone around them. They also can perceive anyone scriying on them.Lasts for L turns.

Enchant Sword
This is one of the most versifier and powerful spells known. It enchants as follows, only one of the following versions may be cast.
1000 swords are turned to silver -1/-1 weapons for 1 turn or 100 swords are+1/+1 for 1 turn or 10 swords are enchanted to +2/+2 for 1 turn or 1 sword is enchanted to +5 for 1 turn or 1 sword is permanently enchanted to +1
Any non one use magic item is consumed by this spell

10 round casting time
The recipient falls into a deep sleep and will not wake up for 6 hours, healing 8d6 and removing one condition such as cursed or blindness

This spell creates a magic energy fishing pole that can be used several ways
A> The pole can be used as a true fishing pole with a 3x normal chance of catching fish,lasts for 3 turns
B>The pole can be used as an aid to climbing. "wielder" has 3x strength to pull individuals up , 100" per round , Lasts for 1 hour
C> pole can be used to move beings around a battlefield. Once a round it makes 2 individuals switch places, they must be on more than 50" from caster and no more than 20" feet away from each other. Lasts for L rounds.

Ward Stones Wiz 4/Cleric 4
This spell must be cast on a rock that must be at least 30 pounds. The next being that gets within 20 feet gets hit by the rock for 3d6 damage save for 1/2. Enchanted rocks must be at least 15 feet apart. When the spell is cast any beings within the rocks range will not trigger it. Lasts 1 month or discharge.

Armour L8 wiz/l7 Cleric
There are many versions of this spell, but the one below is the most common
up to 10 individuals, that must be naked, are instantly clothed in a non magic replica of the last suit of armour that they were wearing.These suits disintegrate after one hour. Mages get a standard Shield spell as if they had just cast it. The clerical version has the clerics holy symbol on the chests of the suit.
A highly prized mage only version of this spell can be found that may be cast as a free action, enabling the mage to cast another spell in the same round.

Forced March Wiz L 8
This spell is used when teleportation is not an option for one reason or another
Cast on 9 individuals and the caster at dusk. The recipients start moving toward a goal at 50 miles an hour til dawn breaks. They are alert and functioning for 2 hours after which they must sleep for as many hours as the marched

Drain Magic
wiz L 9
As opposed to most spells, this one was invented about a year ago, but is spreading like wildfire among the small community of mages that are high enough level to cast this.
Basically this is a supped up version of Dispell magic and as such has several uses.
1) cast at a magic item, that item is drained of all magic permanently, artifacts get a save at the owners numbers if they make it the spell still causes the artifact to be useless for a month
2) cast on an area , creates a dead magic zone for 1 week (about 1/4 square mile
3) cast on a mage, that age gets a save and if he fails, he is drained of all memorized spells

(this is a perm B spell, what that means is that you can cast it unlimited times without it becoming unmemorized ) Range 100 feet Roll to hit at +4, if you hit target takes D12 fire damage, no save
