Aeirn In the Introduction asked for help on Teagle Manor so this is a mash up of new material and some of the stuff I have used The key thing on this is that you must keep in mind that the house itself is haunted as well as hosting undead separately' There can be several types, but far and away the most interesting is a poltergeist. It can attack with literally every house hold item, damage would vary based on the Level of your party and the degree of power possessed by the house. They can also influence behavior of PC s mentally, exploiting weakness with mind control and apparitions of dead loved ones, In some cases actually attracting and controlling these helpless souls. The poltergeists can also manifest directly in the form of people that died in the house or just a hate cloud of energy. Oops forgot to add how to kill them. Simplest of all is burning down the house, but this isn't always possible, Exorcism and Dispel Evil can do serious damage. Poss dispel magic. Often they will have a "heart" for the fighters to hack, this could be a painting, staircase or mausoleum. Turn Undead could do moderate damage. (This may or maynot be inspired by a Dragon Mag article)

Thank you, mao! I found my way here!
I should say, I have time to gather this kind of material, since I'm starting my epic a couple years before my protagonist inherits her manor. Her early adventures dip into the ruins connecting her village to the major port city where she splits her time between the academy and the underworld. The path leading her to the manor starts with nightmares of her childhood trauma there, triggered by adventures in the underworld and the mystery of how she got to the city from the manor after the massacre she witnessed.
End teaser. Heh.
