Hey, I was sent over here by the Perilous Dreamer, I guess there's a little bit of a gaming holidays posting circle going on? Look I'd better get ready for January, I seem to be too late for the rest of it. Then again, maybe it would be better to start that with the new year. You are not too late. Whenever you get here and start is right on time. Happy to have you join us. With G+ going away in April it is a good time to fire up all of our blogs and get them going again.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but it's honestly difficult to tell how the shutdown is going to affect blogger, none of the articles I could find gave me any real information, and no google searches would bring up anything official. A helpful source would be appreciated.
In other news, I already have my first post figured out. Just gotta get the others ready.

I couldn't find anything but a profile question but it gives hints to the likely ramifications. Here is the answer to the question asked: Basically Blogger will be supported but they won't know what effects will occur until the G+ shutdown occurs. The big change is you'll no longer be able to share via G+. You may want to back up blog posts just to be safe but I doubt that would be required. The main thing you will have to do if you haven't already done so is share posts directly to non-google based platforms. I do that anytime I post anyway.

Blogger isn't going anywhere, G+ was abandoned because it wasn't worth it for Google to maintain. When it first started folks thought that they were crazy, they thought that they could get a slice of the Facebook pie. It didn't work. Blogger does generate income and is very very popular, they were hoping that they could had used that popularity to funnel folks into G+, but all it did was make it more difficult for the folks to who wanted to comment on Blogger. Most folks didn't sign up for G+ to yell and correct bloggers, or, if they did, they abandoned their accounts immediately. Most of the folks who were using G+ regularly were us Bloggers. I personally didn't care for it at first, but like anything, one just gets used to it.

I have added this:
04. Celebrate World Storytelling Day on the equinox. World Storytelling Day is a global celebration, where individual storytelling events across the world coordinate on a shared theme. Annually, it takes place around the equinox, so approximately March 20 or 21 every year.
For many of us, this is a day to celebrate all those people in our lives who entertained us (and taught us important life lessons) as children.
