We are all familiar with the 1st Level Sleep Spell So let's say we are creating an Advanced Sleep Spell we are going to call Total Slumber. It is more powerful and would be as follows What level spell should this spell be to be an appropriate level for the power of the spell? Please explain why you think that is an appropriate level for this spell.

I think it should be a 2nd level spell as it is less powerful than a fire ball. A fire ball will affect undead and this will not, also a fire ball gets more powerful as the magic user goes up in levels and this does not. A fire ball would injure more than one 7th level and this does not. I think 2nd level spell is about right, but certainly no higher than a 3rd level spell.

I voted for 4th level, mainly because I think that fireball should be at least 4th level and so should this IMO.

I would make it a 3rd level spell, I think that would be about right. I think it is a bit strong for a second level spell, especially since the regular sleep spell is a bit strong for a 1st level spell.

I think you guys are undervaluing the power of the spell. being above to take out up to 8 4th level or 6 5th level or 4 6th level or 1 7th level from 36" and with a high % chance of being undetected is extremely powerful and I think it should be a 5th level spell for that reason.

I'm going to agree with the lady, I think her explanation is on point.

That is really powerful, I would class that as a 6th level spell.

I would got with 5th level, 6th is too high IMO and 4th is too low.

I agree with Mighty Darci that it is 5th level, I think she has the right of it.

I like the argument for it being 5th level.
