Here is my Hargrave/Arduin blog post. I hope it passes muster, now to read everyone else's posts after I share on my social media. Right on, Hexenritter Verlag ! I like that you broke down which Arduin rules you would or will use in your home campaign. All around, a good mix of information & personal "impact statement," if you'll pardon the turn of phrase. I bet a number of us share your regret at not discovering Arduin sooner - I certainly do! Thank you bravewolf, I took your advice - it made it easier to write after I did so. There is so much good stuff in Arduin but a lot of it is tailored to the World of Khaas & it makes me want to play in it for sure. There is a magik in Dave's writing that just inspires. I want to get to writing up City-State of Môrgað and the other races for Xôðûn; Dave's Arduin just fires up my imagination.

That is pretty incredible, do you have all the documents referenced in the pdf? Thanks, Dreamer! Yeah, I have PDFs of the highlighted issues, plus a few more now. I included even passing comments to DAH, Paul, & about Arduin to aid future research into Arduin. I bet there is a load of unpublished material out there. Some of Hargrave's Arduin content in A&E appears nowhere else that I'm aware of. That is great work, have an Exalt!

My break is about over but I want say that your first post is stellar, xizallian ! You hit on something that I haven't seen discussed before: Arduin providing raw access to Hargrave's creative info-dumps. Modularity absolutely is a key feature and ethos of DAH's work. More later. Thanks! I agree, have an Exalt xizallian!

Seeing the table of contents for the Arduin Trilogy all in one post, really brought home to me once again just how much stuff is there. Each one of the three volume is just massive in content. The three combined into one are impressive.

Although I would rather have read your thoughts on the material itself, it was I thought fitting that you promoted the Trilogy and all of the books and materials that are currently in print. You are right, it is a shame it is not all in print.

You Know It's David Hargrave's Birthday When...
...you go to your local Goodwill store after dinner. While browsing the comics section, you stumble across some gaming rags. The first one you pull is Space Gamer #52 & you wonder whether at that juncture (June 1982) the magazine had already become a Steve Jackson Games house periodical. Flipping it to the contents, you find a capsule review of The Arduin Adventure. :-)
