simrion, I am glad that your pain meds are doing the job, they don't work very good for me.

Positive thoughts back at everyone here! At least my malady is mostly annoying and inconvenient at this point. Visiting Drs gets really old really fast lol

Maybe I'll whine and complain after I wake up.

Things are okay, things could be a bit better. Danielle has pretty much frozen me out of her life, which sucks but it isn't the first time. If anything, it has gotten me to explore spirituality again & I created a new spiritually focused blog. I'm am trying to figure out what I'll post for my second post, I do have a few ideas but I have to boil them down.
I still need to write up new posts for my Geeky blogs as well. So I am keeping myself distracted and hopefully things will improve now that summer is near things should be better soon.

Thanks for asking. Ups and downs but about the same slow decline. Appreciate the check-in. Hope others on the thread are well.

I'm good for now just in that medical cycle of "hurry up and wait" lol. Got a CT scan next week then a follow up with the urologist right after. Tentative "surgery" for stent and stone removal in August. Fortunately no more pain, more inconvenient than anything else. Many here have far greater issue than I so everyday I give thanks and send positive thoughts to all of my fellow sufferers here!

Hope all of you see improvements in the days to come. Sorry that any of you are having a bad time. I hope more of our members make it know what they are going through, IMO it helps to know you are not alone in having tough times.

But what a life! 🎵

That is brilliantly inappropriate as was most of what those talented lads did and have done. You feel like you should be greatly offended and yet you have to laugh.

So I found out yesterday that my "baby" as I call the kidney stone is actually 7mm not 6, that it has migrated back into the kidney and that I'll likely have surgery next week to remove it and the ureter stent. Fortunately no pain so the stent is doing it's job but the Doc doesn't care to have it in any longer than necessary. Be well fellow sufferers!

Hope it all goes well!
You are right "The Stent and Stone" sounds like a tavern. You just need to create a definition for Stent that works in your game or just have it be a mystery.

I split off the next post after this one for the Tavern thread. Really cool name developed right after this and it did need its own thread. So back on topic for this thread.

Huzzah! I'm very happy for you. Now take it easy and follow your Cleric's physician's orders during your recovery.

A rocky road to travel, to be sure. Don't take your journey for granite, there are marble-ous wonders out there.

If you're using a usual browser, good Star, you'll find the word "Exalt" somewhat under the posting person's name. Click on it (the word "exalt") and it automatically gives that person an exalt - an intangible similar to the 1960s Marvel No-Prize. (See the July 2018 issue of Alter-Ego for some photos and background of the eponymous award.)
The only way you'll know it worked, is if you click it again. It will tell you that you can't give another exalt so quickly.

PS: If you're using a text reader for phones, you won't see the word "exalt" - or a lot of non-ASCII things.
