Sora, Deveuil (reptilian) fighting man Richard Herv, Hulcanian fighting man Warrior Twin One Tuck, Human cleric Warrior Twin Two Wy, Human magic-user magremore Shiyazthar, Human fighter mormonyoyoman Kavita, Elf magic-user mormonyoyoman Sliggoth, Nagitherian fighter makofan Varien, elf fighter-magic-user ffilz Josiah, fighting man henchman of Sora Three orcs in for a share of treasure Aaryan - Orc Fighter Arax - Orc Fighter Ardas - Orc Fighter Three nephews of Graytusk in for a half share of treasure plus the items for Graytusk Krewugrut - Ogre Fighter Nuakog - Ogre Fighter Mogruk - Ogre Fighter
I don't recall any wagons, but there are three mules that Graytusk provided for the party plus a mule just for the three nephews for a total of four mules. A wagon will run 200 SP if you want to add one.
As a reminder the ogres are there primarily to guard the mules and the camp and it is up to you all if you want to work out any switches between ogres, orcs and PCs as to who does what. The ogres are young and while very strong are not fully adult yet.
Marching order for the road - my suggestion Sora, Deveuil (reptilian) fighting man Richard & Josiah, fighting man henchman of Sora Herv, Hulcanian fighting man Warrior Twin One & Tuck, Human cleric Warrior Twin Two Wy, Human magic-user magremore & Varien, elf fighter-magic-user ffilz Krewugrut - Ogre Fighter- Leading two mules Nuakog - Ogre Fighter- Leading two mules Mogruk - Ogre Fighter Shiyazthar, Human fighter mormonyoyoman & Kavita, Elf magic-user mormonyoyoman Aaryan - Orc Fighter & Sliggoth, Nagitherian fighter makofan Arax - Orc Fighter& Ardas - Orc Fighter

Everyone please go to this thread The Party - PCs - NPCs - Equipment (offical character sheets) and review your equipment and character and then if there are corrections or additions post in the thread so I can add them. Look at everyone else's if you have time. Let me know if I missed anything, if you forget something it will be too late once we hit the road. I know a couple of things I missed but I am too tired to add them tonight. Once everyone confirms that their character(s) is(are) OK and the marching order is finalized we will hit the road. It looks like mormonyoyoman is willing to be the caller/leader and unless there are objections or other volunteers we will go with that, so speak now if you need to.

Note: Sora and Josiah have riding mules - how do you propose to deploy them and use them since everyone else is on foot. Sora and Josiah are willing to be deployed however the party chooses, but IMHO sending them ahead (or out on the flanks) to scout will most likely serve only to separate those planning an ambush into either "Novice/Stupid" or "Experienced/Smart." "Novice/Stupid" will likely attack Sora and Josiah as an easy target, without allowing for the fact that doing so will alert the larger portion of the party to said ambush. "Experienced/Smart" will likely let Sora and Josiah pass unmolested - since neither character is very likely to detect a skillful ambush - in order to attack the larger portion of the party and thus defeat us in detail.

The only thing that worries me (and Sora) about the marching order is that all three orcs are together and at the REAR of the party. So when we run into the ambush that's been set by the other part of their Chaotic party, we'll be very neatly surrounded. Just saying . . .

Sliggoth thinks Sora worries too much. Of course, in Nagitherian society the concept of a "lie" or "Falsehood" is not understood

So when we run into the ambush that's been set by the other part of their Chaotic party, we'll be very neatly surrounded. Just saying . . . I normally would not give this much extra information; however, I will say that if I were going to infiltrate people into the party up front it would be after we got to know one another better in game terms. In my original group I did a lot of different things once we got a real world year under our belts. I do find it amusing that you are so worried about the orcs, but not about the three ogres with the party. I assure you that aside from the PCs which might do anything, the NPCs with the party are seeking treasure and to come back alive, that is their primary motivations, as to any secondary motivations perhaps, just maybe, you should worry about that on the way back. Now as to anyone that gets added along the way or during the adventure, etc, who knows as that may be a completely different kettle of fish.

I just figure that Sora is roleplaying a dislike / distrust of orcs as part of his character, not necessarily what Richard the player thinks

Updated marching order for the road - my suggestion Shiyazthar, Human fighter mormonyoyoman & Kavita, Elf Fighter/Magic-user mormonyoyoman Wy, Human magic-user magremore & Drek -Fighting Man magremore Varien, elf fighter-magic-user & Mogruk - Ogre Fighter Krewugrut - Ogre Fighter- Leading two mules Nuakog - Ogre Fighter- Leading two mules Herv, Hulcanian - fighting man Warrior Twin One & Tuck, Human cleric Warrior Twin Two Arax - Orc Fighter& Ardas - Orc Fighter Aaryan - Orc Fighter & Sliggoth, Nagitherian fighter makofan Sora, Deveuil (reptilian) fighting man Richard & Josiah, fighting man henchman of Sora Richard I propose that Sora and Josiah go behind the party with the mules as they can quickly ride around to the front if needed as they have maneuverability on their side and it keeps the whole field of view in front of them. Also them being mounted makes for a good rear guard. (and Sora can watch the orcs to his hearts content! but he can't get too close on their heels or he will step on Sliggoth's tail) I see we have a party of 16 one cleric one magic-user two Elf Fighter/Magic-Users twelve Fighters of various types I propose that the magic-users pick their spells and that we begin. Our caller mormonyoyoman (Shiyazthar) could start us off and then PD could give us the travel details up until we need to make a decision. I am fine with Shiyazthar calling the shots to move things along and then we can discuss the major and/or combat decisions depending on what arises.

Tuck is ready to go and has a saddle bag that he adds to the load of the ogre's mule after talking to Mogruk and appears to have taken something out of it. He is helping Shiyazthar get everyone lined up and on their way up the road.

Sora visibly relaxes - just a tad - as he takes up a new position at the rear of the party, along with Josiah. He and his partner tie the pack animals they are responsible for into two separate strings - one for each of them - and then settle in for the journey ahead.

I just figure that Sora is roleplaying a dislike / distrust of orcs as part of his character, not necessarily what Richard the player thinks [OOC: You are correct! Sora has taken to heart what was perhaps a throwaway bit of data from our GM, that only 5% of orcs are Lawful. He simply doubts that the party has been so uncommonly lucky as to fall in with not one, not two but THREE orcs who are all members of this tiny minority . . .]

[OOC: And this disqualifies orcish treachery on the way to rather than coming back from precisely how? Their highest Intelligence is 9, so they're not exactly creatively-thinking geniuses. Perhaps - to their minds - killing everyone in an ambush on the way to this obviously deadly, undead-filled dungeon, looting the bodies of their erstwhile compatriots and then stopping at a different town leagues away to dispose of the loot sounds like the best way to survive and prosper.]

You have two riding mules, when did you gain pack animals? There are four pack mules, three for the party and one for the three ogres. All pack mules belong to Graytusk and his nephews are along specifically to tend to them and one would assume to look after Graytusk's interests.
