Gil leaves the guard and proceeds along the Green Line.
The corridor slopes down as it goes along. Only a short distance away he comes to a busy cross corridor. He sees a score or more locals in coveralls walking in one direction or the other. He also sees several green utility vehicles moving silently along the wide corridor with one to four people in each. There are a number of green utility vehicles parked in an alcove of to the side. The green line goes both directions in the cross corridor and a black line runs along side the green one, but only toward the right.
On the wall of the corridor there are signs giving directions. You are on Level -1 Section 4. To the left is labeled Lower and to the right is labeled Exit. Gil can see what look like elevators, or lifts, across the corridor that would take him up or down.
Looking closely, Gil notices the corridor he is in has a pair of slots in the wall about 4 meters apart. He suspects these are "blast doors" used to quickly seal off the corridor back toward the ship in the event of a blow out.
OOC: Now where was Gil supposed to deliver that package again? Oh, and where was the cafe he was going to visit?

Gil decides to take the green mover to Mara's Cut after ensuring that he's understood the security guard's directions to the restaurant and how to get back to the ship. Thinking to himself, "48 hours is a brief time for side business but the only package I have to deliver goes to Morgan's Church so I'll see what I can turn up. The worst case is I get a quiet meal and go back to the ship." After finishing his meal, he chats up the waiter/waitress to get directions to the dormitories.

Gil hops aboard one of the small self-driving movers and as soon as he takes a seat the screen in front of the seat lights up and asks his destination. Gil can say where he wants to go, or type it onto the screen. Once he as entered his destination...and Mara's Cut works as well as giving a Level/Sector address...the small electric vehicle pulls out into the traffic flow and rolls along. The mover drives into a lift and descends and then out into another corridor. It turns left and continues down that corridor taking first a right and then a left before turning into another of the parking areas several of which Gil has passed during the short ride. A lighted corridor map on the screen shows a flashing dot about 20 meters further down the corridor from where you are currently parked with Mara's Cut displayed beside the flashing dot. Clearly, it intends for you to exit here and walk there. A short walk down what looks like the corridor of an old Mall, past storefronts and along with about 20 other people walking along sidewalks on either side of the wide corridor, brings Gil to a sign on the corridor wall announcing Mara's Cut as a narrow corridor to his left. The Mara's Cut corridor is only 3 meters wide, at most. There are a number of smaller storefronts along both sides of the corridor and a few people walk past Gil as he strolls along. The Cafeteria is clearly labeled and as Gil steps up to the door he has to pause as four people come out the door. Inside the cafeteria, Gil joins a line and takes a numbered card. The line is moving past displays of different foods that are on offer. He can push a button next to items he wishes to purchase. At the end of the line he matches his numbered card to a tray with his chosen food and drink. A human takes his ship's credit card and after crediting the ship's account returns it to him. Out in the seating area there are four separate areas with tables and booths along the walls. Most of the tables and booths in two areas closest to the checkout area are occupied, but the two others have several open tables and booths for Gil to pick from.

Gil decides that the voice-driven movers will enable him to get to his contact and selects one of the empty booths to settle in and eat. When he finishes, he disposes of his tray and leaves Mara's Cut and finds a mover to take him to his meeting. Rather than going directly to the meeting, he has the mover take him by a few other places that are on the way. Although he appears to be casually looking around, he is paying close attention to whether or not he's being followed. Since the meet up is in the company dorms he thinks he should be safe enough, but he stays on guard because he knows from experience that things can go sideways in an instance if one isn't aware of what's going on around him.

It doesn't appear that Gil is being followed, nor observed, as he makes his little tour. The mover takes him through dorm corridors, entertainment corridors, even what appears to be a series of stores (like a Mall), before he stops near the location he was given. The location is a door about half way down a brightly lighted corridor only wide enough for walking. He is passed by three people each walking alone and dressed in company coveralls. Each of them look at Gil and nod, but other than the novelty of seeing someone *not* in company coveralls don't seem to pay him abnormal attention.

Gil casually walks to the rendezvous point and attempts to make contact with the potential "customer" and muses to himself whether he should enlist Peng in his "side business" because Peng seems to be of a compatible mindset with regard to making a few creds on the side...

You were given an address. It is a closed door. You push the button next to the door and hear a faint buzzing from inside. A man's voice comes out of a small speaker grill next to the door, "Yes? Who is it, please?"

Who is it, please?" Assuming that Gil was given some way to identify himself to the potential "customer", he does so. "Gil McGonagall at your service." The door opens and a slim young man wearing a company overall stands there. He looks Gil over quickly then leans out and looks up and down the corridor. "Come in quickly." he whispers and quickly closes the door behind Gil. Looking around, Gil sees a small living area. Off to one side is an open kitchenette and a short corridor leads deeper into the apartment, presumably to a bedroom and fresher. On a table between the kitchen and the small living room is a computer, a pad of pager and several books. A chair has been pulled up to the table and it looks like this man had been working on some calculations. "Well, have you got it?" he asks, "I want to see it before I pay you the rest of your money."

[OOC: Eris, the small package Gil has for delivery is to the Shiralea system, not Elati per your post. That being the case, Gil will try to work out what's going on]
"It?" Gil asks as he scratches his beard thoughtfully. "I'm sorry, but you seem to have the advantage of me. What would this 'it' be?"

Gil asks as he scratches his beard thoughtfully. "I'm sorry, but you seem to have the advantage of me. What would this 'it' be?" OOC: Oh $@$%! I got it mixed up. I thought you had the Elati package and Peng turned down the Shiralea package. We might have to just kill this entire thread! IT is a package of "Study Drugs" that a grad student working for the University that is helping with the Terraforming ordered. He, and several other grad students feel they need an extra boost to keep up with their research and other work. What is going to Shiralea is a flash drive with some information on it that would be embarrassing to certain people if it went public, but is important to those people that it get to a certain church (cult according to authorities elsewhere) on Shiralea. How do you want to handle this?

[OOC: Hmm, well we can role-play it out. I was a bit confused myself, but I thought it might be a potential law enforcement "entrapment" scenario.]
"I must have made a mistake with the address. That being the case, please accept my apology for disturbing you," Gil smiles congenially and begins to head for the door.
[OOC: Gil will *NOT* turn his back on the resident while moving towards the door.]

OOC: Apparently, there is only ONE guy at the local starport who handles illicit cargoes. This morning, said guy dropped his organizer in the toilet and is now having to go from memory as to what is currently in the pipeline and where it's headed . . .

Gil continues to smile jovially with a quizzical expression on his face and says, "My friend, I'm not sure what 'stuff' that you're talking about. I was supposed to meet someone a friend of mine knew to discuss astrography, I'm sure whoever you are waiting for will be here, but I really need to sort out the address issue and find my friend's acquaintance." Gil gently removes the young man's hand from his arm. "Good day and good fortune be with you," he says as he continues to move towards the door, still keeping an eye on the young man.

OOC: Now what?

"Well, you win some, you lose some," Gil thinks to himself as he walks back to the people mover to go back to the ship. When he arrives at the ship, he pauses to greet Cyril and Dr. Vargus before heading off to take a long shower and resume his studies.
