Raven says, " That is great info to know, and Mara's Cut sounds like a place I would like to visit. How soon do we need to greet the Port Director, should we do that right away or make an appointment? Oh and one of our number said he was told about a place called Brother Leroy's, which building is it in?" "Brother Leroy's Bar and Grill!" the guard exclaims then laughs, "Where ever did you hear about Brother Leroy's?""It's outside Ma'am. Take the Green Line to Exit 3B, you'll see Leroy's big neon sign once you step outside. You'll need air tanks and if you're going, go armed, and don't go alone. Food isn't bad, the beer and whiskey is better than anything you'll find inside, and the wheel is honest. At least, that's what Brother Leroy says." the guard says with a grin.

Waiting for the guards answer, Raven glances at Blackjack who seems to be choking on something.

"Yeah, you really should go check in with Captain Young first thing.", the guard says, "He gets peeved if he thinks he's being overlooked. The Company Director really runs things here and Captain Young isn't even high up in the pecking order of the local navy folks."
"I mean he's only an honorary Captain after all, just a jumped up Lt. JG., and no he's not my boss, not in my chain of command, so I can talk about him this way." the guard finishes up with a grin then adds seriously, "He can delay you getting refueled, though, so it might be best to make nice."
"Oh, and even if Brother Leroy's is outside it's not all that dangerous. There are other places where I wouldn't go with a tricked out squad of Marines." he says looking over Raven's shoulder at Peng.

Raven thanks the guard for his help, flashing another big smile his way, as they all move through the checkpoint, turning to Blackjack and Cho, she says, "The three of us should go pay Captain Young a visit and then catch up with the rest of the group." It occurs to me that we did not specify who is staying with the ship, this first trip out. My suggestion is Doctor Wade Vargas should stay behind (mainly since the his last post was 6/1/17) and maybe one other person, suggestions. "Ha-penny, you and I need to have a talk later." Hmmm! Who should that other person be.

While it would make sense to leave Peng behind (as punishment), I'd much rather he go along. Besides, Raven might not want to leave a known troublemaker behind, supervised only by the good doctor (who is liable to become distracted by his scientific inquiries). What about our Patron and her people? Ffliz - while active - seems to be challenged to come up with anything substantive for his PC to accomplish. If Baltus stays behind on the ship, then maybe something substantive might happen to him and the good doctor.

Vargas and Cyril could join Raven's group if they chose, go off on their own, do something else, or do nothing at all.
Cho and Cathy are going to split off from the group to visit Delgado Trading.
The rest of Cho's staff (except Baltus) is staying aboard. They can look after the ship giving all the PC's a chance to "go ashore" and have an adventure.
Gilroy is off on his own adventure. Chuck, I'm waiting on you.
Raven, Blackjack, Peng and (I thought) Baltus were together looking for drinks and dinner.

Hmm, I've lost track of things, but that works for me, so sure, Baltus is off to find dinner.

I at least still need to go see Captain Young and take along what ever paperwork he will need to see (I am assume that I know what that is and will have it with me). Is Blackjack going with me on that and does Cho need to go or are they checking in with Delgado trading first and seeing Captain Young later?

Peng stands at the back of the small group, waiting while they discuss where who is going. As he waits, Peng practices isometric exercises, including slowly raising himself onto his tiptoes, then just as slowly lowering himself again.

Raven is facing Ha-Penny's direction and sees him fidgeting, it makes her wonder what he is up to that he is so anxious to get to Brother Leroy's? As usual he will bear watching. She turns her full attention back to the discussion as she waits to find out what everyone is doing.

Yes, Raven knows what she needs, the ship's papers is all she really needs. Blackjack will tag along as the "owner aboard" and the rest of the group can come along, but they'll probably just spend a few minutes in the Port Captain's Anteroom while Raven and Blackjack say hello and shake the Port Captain's hand.
Cho and Cathy are going to Delgado first, and they expect to be tied up there for a couple of hours or more. They'll probably drop by the Port Captain's office afterwards and then go back to the ship.

Peng catches Raven looking at him and studiously avoids meeting her eyes.
Why is she always so suspicious? It's not like my side jobs get us into trouble. Well, not too often and it's never all that bad. Although there was that time we all landed in jail for a while on that backwater place the name of which I can't recall. But that wasn't my fault. Not really, anyway. How was I to know that Vargr porn was illegal on that world? They were all humans, after all!

We will see you folks later," nodding at Cho and Cathy. She continues, " Blackjack, I think we are going to be quite thirsty by the time we get to Brother Leroy's." Resolves to keep an eye on Ha-Penny to see what he is up to. Also wonder about what shady things Gil may be up to, thinking now I have two of them to babysit.

Peng follows along behind his Captain and Owner Aboard, keeping a watchful [e.g. borderline paranoid] eye out for danger.

I am assuming that we arrive at the office of Captain Young uneventfully and are waiting to be granted an audience. I second this assumption (for whatever that might be worth). OOC: Your assumptions are well founded. "You can see Captain Young now." says the young man manning the reception desk. Stepping through the door you are greeted by a short, solidly built, middle aged woman with dark brown hair cut very short. She is wearing a uniform similar to the other Starport personnel you've encountered, but with three stars on her shoulder boards. "I'm Captain Sara Young." she says, "Welcome to Elati. So, what's the news from back on Patagonia?"

Captain Young only keeps you a few minutes for a chat. She finds it interesting that you are going on up the main into mostly unknown territory.
"I wish you good fortune on your trip." she says shaking Blackjack's hand, then turning to shake Raven's, "I hope you drop in and tell me all about what you find on your way back."
With that you exit the Captain's offices. You note she didn't even acknowledge the rest of you on the way out. She seemed to lose interest in you when you were introduced as less than owner or Captain.
As you walk back down the corridor Raven says, "So, just what is this place you want us to visit, Ha'penny?"
"We've been told we need breathers and not to go unarmed, so let's drop back by the ship and then I'll let you lead us into temptation." Raven grins.
Blackjack says, "Sidearms and blades. Nothing more heavy duty that that, Ladies and Gentlemen and I think cash, as I don't think this sort of place is going to take cards or give credit. Only as much as you don't mind losing, too. We meet up at the guard's station in 10 minutes and nobody goes off on their own!"

Raven says, "So, just what is this place you want us to visit, Ha'penny?"Peng shrugs unconfortably and reluctantly replies, "Just a local place one of those escorts recommended. Made me curious, but it didn't sound like somewhere a body should venture alone.""We've been told we need breathers and not to go unarmed, so let's drop back by the ship and then I'll let you lead us into temptation." Raven grins. "Hey, now! I ain't no leader!" Despite this pro forma protest, Peng looks relieved to hear that he won't have to go to Larry's alone. Blackjack says, "Sidearms and blades. Nothing more heavy duty that that, Ladies and Gentlemen and I think cash, as I don't think this sort of place is going to take cards or give credit. Only as much as you don't mind losing, too. We meet up at the guard's station in 10 minutes and nobody goes off on their own!"Peng signals his assent with his patented near-salute and heads for his cabin to add his heavy revolver - and a much smaller one in a custom ankle-holster - to the blade he's already got sheathed under his ship suit.

[OOC NOTE: Peng is skirting the edge of Blackjack's prohibition of "nothing heavier" . . . since his heavy revolver incorporates an underbarrel mini-grenade launcher . . .]
