A straight link linkWorks, I also requested access to the base Google Sheet, since I do have a gmail account, happy to have commenting or editing access so I can keep bits related to my character up to date (and happy to help others who don't have gmail). |

If Perilous Dreamer will add the GSHEET plugin to the board I can get the spread sheet to actually show up in the post rather than just a link. I've PMed him about it, we'll see if he'll do it. Anyway, I'll start work on some sheets for the game: Character Sheets, Ship Sheet, Cargo Loadouts, etc. This is going to take time.  |

Displaying a google sheet in a post!
1. in google sheets, "File/Publish to the Web" and choose what you want to publish and copy the link
2. in the forum use gsheet and /gsheet tags around just the long code key code in the middle of the html iframe tag that is generated, it will look something like this...
1M3rODB6Ikw03VR2C0u_3finw86kppcqxUQRVCfVH1e8
3. set width= and height= or you might get too much or too little...you'll need to tinker a bit here
4. you'll see the tag, not the sheet, until you save

The right hand margin of the table seems to be cutting off info? Yeah, there should be a scroll bar at the bottom of the frame where you can scroll over. I can adjust the width and height of the frame, and I wanted to make sure there scroll bars were working so I made the frame small enough so scrolling would be required horizontally and vertically. I suspect the sheets will be large enough so some scrolling will be required. Oh, heck! I KNOW some of the sheets are going to require scrolling. I've used this in other games, but I can't help thinking "This is so cool!" every time I see it working. |

Unfortunately, I have to expand everything pretty darn big before my touch screen will let me USE the scroll bar.  I'll have to click and drag with my mouse pad, I suppose. But that's okay. |

Hmm, on my screen the whole image is barely 6 inches wide and about 4 inches high. Easy to use the scroll for me.

It's about that size for me, on the monitor of the computer I use at work (which is waaaayyyy too old to be a touch screen). On my Surface Pro, it's about half that size. And on my phone . . . it's downright miniscule. NOTE: You probably have smaller, pointier fingers than mine. I have to reverse-pinch it quite large before my touch will distinguish between the scroll bar and it's frame. E.g. at smaller sizes, I drag the page around, rather than move the bar. |

That "should" make the width expand and contract automatically based on the width of the browser window (See above). Just a thought. |
