Its a book about civilian character professions. Good book to inspire GMs, because the 'Other' character class is just not all encompassing enough to deal with non military characters.

It has the following professions you can roll for instead of the standard Army/Navy/MArines/Scouts/Merchants/Other
Pirates, Belters, Sailors, Diplomats, Doctors, Flyers, Barbarians, Bureaucrats, Rogues, Nobles, Scientists, Hunters

It also has rules for bow weapons, a couple new ships, and a bunch of pre-rolled NPCs.

I was under the impression that Citizens of the Imperium was a specific setting for Traveller, am I mistaken about that?

I was under the impression that Citizens of the Imperium was a specific setting for Traveller, am I mistaken about that? It was Traveller Supplement 4 by GDW. One could argue that it is specific to the OTU but I see it as generic

Isn't also the supplement with stats for some sci-fi characters of the time with the names filed off? I could be mistaken but I will look later...

One could argue that it is specific to the OTU but I see it as generic I see very little Third Imperium specific material in Supplement 4, so yea, I see it as totally generic.
